our policies

PET ARRIVAL + DEPARTURE
It’s only fair to your pet that they arrive one hour before closing time. This allows them to get adjusted to the new environment before we have turn down service and lights turned down. Pets boarding must check out by 5pm on Saturdays, and Monday-Friday no later than 6 pm. If daycare or boarding pets are not picked up by closing of business, they will be boarded for an additional night at full rate and charges will apply to owners account.

Please check your pet before arrival for any scratches, bruises, sores, or any other conditions that we need to be notified of. Please inform us upon arrival if your pet shows any of these symptoms. Our Check in procedure includes a quick screening for any issues that may raise a concern. However, please note we are not a vet’s office and some conditions may go undetected. Our screening procedure is simply a visual check of your pet. Your pet will be observed for the first 30 minutes after arrival and if any issues are detected you will be notified immediately.

At Departure we ask that you conduct a quick visual screening of your pet just as we do upon their arrival. We are very cautious and careful when your pet in is our care, we want to ensure that we are not only aware but the owners are aware of any issues.

SPAYED + NEUTERED REQUIREMENTS
We prefer daycare dogs to be spayed or neutered if they are 6 months old or older in order to fully participate in our daycare activities. However, if your pet isn’t spayed or neutered, they will be limited on the groups they can participate in. This information must be specified on the application.

ANIMAL CARE
We ask that all pets boarding or attending doggy daycare arrive flea & tick free and in clean condition. We reserve the right to bathe and treat any animal at owner’s expense.

TEMPERMENT + SOCIALIZATION EVALUATION
A temperament evaluation consists of the first moments your pet arrives on our property. Each guest is placed in an individual run to get used to the environment on their own. Once they’ve had a moment to take in all the smells, sights and sounds then they will be placed in a run with another guest who exhibits the same size and temperament. Once they do well together then other guests can be added in to form a play group. Some of our guests do better in a smaller group while others do better with only one other play mate. Our kennel techs put play groups together that they are certain will work. The safety of our guests comes first and we never take any risks.

VACCINATIONS
All pets must be current with their vaccinations and have veterinary proof. At home vaccinations will not be permitted. Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella are required.

DOGS
State law requires rabies vaccinations for all dogs by 3.5 months or (14 weeks) and Bordetella by 10 weeks of age. The combination vaccine commonly known as “distemper” protects your dog against six viral diseases, including canine distemper and parvovirus. Bordetella or kennel cough inoculation protects dogs against this highly contagious, air-borne infection.

CATS
State law requires rabies vaccination for all cats 3 months of age. The commendation vaccine commonly known as “RCP” protects your cat against serious upper respiratory and gastrointestinal viruses.
